These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of craftedfurnitureco.com (the "Site"), operated by Crafted Furniture Co ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes, such as learning about our services, reading our articles and contacting us. You must be at least 16 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to submit forms on the Site.

2. Prohibited conduct

When using the Site you agree not to:

  • break any applicable law or regulation, or encourage others to do so;
  • submit false, misleading, defamatory, abusive or unlawful content;
  • send spam, unsolicited advertising or malicious code through our forms;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or any connected systems;
  • scrape, copy or harvest content or data from the Site using automated means without our written permission;
  • interfere with the security, operation or availability of the Site;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

We may block access or remove submissions that breach these Terms.

3. Design services

Information on the Site describes our interior design services in general terms and is not an offer capable of acceptance. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract or any obligation for you or us.

Any design engagement is governed by a separate written proposal or agreement setting out the scope, deliverables, fees and timeline. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement prevails for that engagement. No payments are taken through this Site.

We are a design-only studio. We do not sell, supply, manufacture, deliver or install furniture, products or materials. Any purchase you make based on our designs or recommendations is a contract between you and the relevant retailer, supplier or tradesperson, and is subject to their terms. Images and illustrations on the Site are for illustration only.

We do not carry out building, structural, electrical or plumbing work. Where a design involves fixing items to walls or altering a structure, you are responsible for engaging suitably qualified tradespeople. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, layouts and articles — is owned by or licensed to Crafted Furniture Co and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and print pages for personal use. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute or create derivative works from our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Short quotations with a link back to the source are welcome.

5. Your submissions

When you send us messages, photos or plans, you confirm that you have the right to share them. You keep ownership of your content; you grant us permission to use it only to respond to you and provide requested services. We will not publish photos of your home without your explicit written permission. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

The Site may link to third-party websites or mention products from other companies. These are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, products or privacy practices. A link or mention is not an endorsement unless we say so expressly. If we ever earn a commission from a link, we will clearly disclose it.

7. No guarantees

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, including about accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or viruses.

We do not guarantee any particular outcome from following our articles or recommendations, including cost savings, property value, product performance, or that a design will suit your needs. Measurements, product dimensions, prices and availability provided by third parties may change, and you should always verify them before purchase. Please also read our Disclaimer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crafted Furniture Co, its owners, staff and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Site (as opposed to a paid engagement covered by a separate agreement) is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100) or the equivalent in your local currency, or the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim — whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Crafted Furniture Co against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes and availability

We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date will change. We may suspend or withdraw the Site, or any part of it, without notice.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country and region in which Crafted Furniture Co is established. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
